Designed for Broker, Trader and DMA Clients, Avvento – offered by STT – is an internet-based trading solution. Avvento is developed using the latest technology, thereby providing a robust, reliable solution. Avvento is available as a browser-based trading platform developed as a Progressive Web App that can be installed on a smartphone or tablet as an application. In addition, Avvento can be installed as a Windows © based application, providing Brokers with a very rich Broker trading platform, as well as both web-based browser and smartphone apps perfect for DMA Clients and Brokers on the move.
Avvento’s Risk Management system allows a Broker to enable DMA Clients to trade directly on the JSE markets, while restricting a client to certain asset classes, or contracts thereby ensuring clients do not exceed their available cash balances, trading and settlement limits.
The Real Time Risk Management system allows Brokers to manage their clients’ trading activities, while maximising their clients’ use of their cash or settlement limits as a result of the system’s real-time initial -, variation -, and spread margining calculations.
With multiple modules, Avvento provides Trading, Post-trade deal management, Real Time Risk Management (including pre-order validation), Data downloads and reports as well as access to a suite of Algos.

Avvento Trader Web is developed using the latest ASP.NET Web API and Angular 6;creating an ultra-fast and responsive trading system, providing a browser-based system and mobile app compatible with tablets and smartphones. Avvento Trader Web is ideal for Traders who need market access while on the move, or for Broker clients looking for a simple and elegant Direct Market Access (DMA) trading system.
Avvento Web uses the same back end as Avvento Desktop, meaning that you can use both with the same account – depending on your location.
Avvento Web includes Trading and transactions views, trading watchlists, full market depth, stock charts, algos, trading and order management and provides the perfect web-based trading platform to view and trade on any market.
Avvento Trader is offered as a fully managed, privately hosted solution certified ISO 27001 in JSE Colocation with optional Disaster Recovery environments in a separate location including complete JSE Connectivity. Our dedicated support team manages everything from installation, configuration, as well as on-going maintenance for both the desktop and web solutions.
Our privately hosted solution ensures that all data is kept segregated and secure, conforming to all data security and privacy regulations.
